We are very pleased to offer this wonderful traditional material. The deer rawhide avg size is 10 - 12 sq. ft. It is fairly light in weight and better for smaller projects such as quill work, small hand drums, etc. The elk avg size is 20-22 sq. ft. It is a larger and better hide suited for larger drums and parfleches. The buffalo is an even heavier hide then the elk and is used also for large drums. Avg size 28- 30 sq. ft.
